Welcome Reception

Join your colleagues at the Welcome Reception from 5:30-7:30 on Sunday June 27. Check-in for the conference and pick up your conference kit. Visit with other attendees while enjoying refreshments and music provided by UBC music students.

ARUCC 2010 BANQUET

The ARUCC banquet will be held on Tuesday, June 29th in the Sheraton Grand Ballroom.  Cocktail hour begins at 6:00, with dinner to follow at 7:00.  There will be an interactive, pub-style quiz during dinner—winning tables will be awarded great prizes! The theme of the quiz will focus on post-secondary education, but will also incorporate a healthy dose of pop culture and other ‘trivial pursuits’. The grand prize for this prestigious event will include the coveted ARUCC Trivia Tournament Trophy.

Wondering what to wear? Think “quiz show chic”: enough to make Trebek proud, but won’t give Vanna a run for her money. More than jeans, less than a tux…or feel free to ham it up!

Speeches and the ARUCC awards ceremony will follow dinner.

For the dance portion of the evening, the Retainers, a band of legal-minded musicians from around Vancouver, will play an assortment of current and past favourites.
