Overview

The intent of the Technology Sub-Committee is to explore various issues surrounding the production of electronic or web Calendars.

Following the presentation of the ARUCC survey results at the 2004 conference in Ottawa, it was acknowledged that many of the issues warranted more study. Conference participants were eager to see recommended 'best practices' emerge.

One issue that drew a lot of discussion was the production of different versions of the calendar from a single data source. We have chosen this topic as the first of our e-calendar technology case studies.
