Professional representatives in Government departments, Indigenous governed post-secondary institutions, and Canadian non-profit / not-for profit organizations involved in activities related to post-secondary education not eligible for Institutional Membership may apply to be an Associate, Category A, which must be approved by the ARUCC Board of Directors. Such institutions may designate as many Associate representatives as it wishes in accordance with the Bylaws.

• Same privileges as Regular Members, but may not vote or hold office.

Professional representatives in Canadian private, for-profit post-secondary institutions and international post-secondary institutions not eligible for Institutional Membership may apply to be an Associate, Category B, which must be approved by the ARUCC Board of Directors. Such institutions may designate as many Associate representatives as it wishes in accordance with the Bylaws.

Corporations providing products or services supporting Institutional Members. ARUCC offers the following benefits to its Corporate Associates:

• Listing on the association web site with a brief (25 word) explanation of company's services
• Direct access to the ARUCC Board of Directors for discussion of corporate services which may benefit the membership
