ARUCC Launches a New Learner Credential Wallet as part of the ARUCC National Network Project

ARUCC is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive, bilingual, online credential wallet for Canadian post-secondary learners called MyCreds™| MesCertif™. This new wallet is the outcome of the incredible effort of well over 100 higher education leaders across Canada who, along with ARUCC's service provider, Digitary, are creating new ways to support learners who seek to share their documents, badges, credentials and micro-credentials on a 24/7 basis - anytime, anywhere. ARUCC is grateful to the many higher education experts from our colleges and universities across Canada, and its partners, PCCAT, CUCCIOCanPESC, and the Digitary team. These people continue to collaborate in new and innovative ways to support post-secondary learners. Stay tuned for further news as our post-secondary institutions join MyCreds™| MesCertif™ over the coming weeks and months.

Charlottetown, PEI  |  PEI Convention Centre

Sea Change 2018 is now Sold Out.

Registration for the forthcoming ARUCC/CACUSS SEA CHANGE 2018 conference is now sold out! If you are not yet registered but are nonetheless confirmed as a presenter, the conference team will be reaching out to you shortly to get you registered asap. For registrants and for those living in the region, note that there are still limited spaces available for the pre-conference workshops being offered on Sunday, June 17.

We didn't anticipate registrations would fill up quite so rapidly, and are currently looking into ways in which we can engage non-attendees in the conference content. Whether or not you’re attending, you can follow along on social media, using the hashtag #SeaChange18, to keep up to date on all of the learning taking place at the conference in PEI! You can also access our ARUCC public website and our ARUCC Members Area for discussions and collaborations, to contribute answers to surveys, and to read up on important ARUCC activities such as the ARUCC Groningen & Student Mobility Project. What’s more, the ARUCC Forum is always there for members to start discussions, pose questions, and network with colleagues from across the country.

ARUCC/CACUSS Joint Conference, June 2018

News Release

The Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC) and the Canadian Association of College & University Student Services (CACUSS) are pleased to announce a joint conference to take place Sunday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 20, 2018. The conference will take place in Prince Edward Island at the PEI Convention Centre and Delta Prince Edward as the primary venues.

This is the first time these two organizations will formally come together to share common interest, learn from research and innovative practices, and to collaborate and build partnerships between members and external stakeholders. As travel and professional development budgets are tight, building cost efficiencies for both organizations will benefit our membership and our invited exhibitors and sponsors.

The Memorandum to host the joint conference was signed this month by ARUCC President Charmaine Hack of Ryerson University and CACUSS President Patricia Pardo of Mount Royal University.

The Program Committee will be made up of professional staff from universities and colleges across Canada, including local hosts from the University of Prince Edward Island. The theme of the 2018 conference will be announced in June 2017.

The Call for Proposals for educational sessions will open in November 2017 and registration will open in February 2018. General conference information will be available online in August 2017 at www.cacuss.ca and www.arucc.ca.

We look forward to this exciting collaborative venture in 2018 and hope to see you in PEI!.
